New! Toshiba will launch a new line of high performance SDXC and SDHC memory cards under a new brand name, EXCERIA™ that will bring to market SD memory cards offering the highest performance levels available. EXCERIA, a combination of "excellent" and "experience" offers cards compliant with the SD Memory Card Standard Ver.3.0 UHS-I, and includes versions offering the world-fastest class data transfer speed. The latest addition to Toshiba's range of high capacity microSDHC products is a high quality 32GByte card providing respective read and write speeds up to 15Mbytes per second and 5Mbytes per second. This card is fully compliant with the SD Association's Class 4 specification, which guarantees a minimum transfer speed of 4Mbytes per second. To enhance data portability the 32GByte microSDHC card is supplied with its own SD adaptor.

All Toshiba high-speed professional SD cards are now compliant with the new SD Association Class 10 specification. This replaces the previous Class 6 specification and guarantees transfer speeds of 10Mbytes per second meeting the needs of video recording and other professional applications.

Toshiba has launched a new ultra-small USB-Stick to its product range. As of March 2012, this new design will be available in four colours: 4GB capacity in blue and white; and 8GB capacity in black and red.

Toshiba Introduces New Colour Range of its Existing USB Memory Stick Design!
Toshiba has added a new colour range to its currently existing USB design. As of March 2012, the 4GB capacity will be available in white, navy blue and orange; whereas the 8GB capacity will be available in white, brown and aqua blue. They continue Toshiba's tradition of delivering a combination of performance and reliability as befits the inventory of Flash memory technology.

SDXC Performance Increases
Toshiba was the first company to launch a 64GB SDXC memory card and has now increased its performance to achieve a write speed of 45MByte/s and read speed of 95MByte/s. SDXC cards, which can support up to 2TB capacity, are aimed at applications that require high speed data transfer such as recording of full HD still images and movies and high speed continuous shooting for digital still images. The range of SDHC , micro SDHC, and SDXC UHS-I retail cards will be branded Premiugate™ to allow consumers to easily identify the fastest cards available.

Toshiba is also introducing a 32GB SDHC UHS-I card featuring a read speed up to 95MB/s and a write speed up to 45MB/s.
